Mel is a licensed esthetician and tattoo artist, and the owner of two salons at Aiea Town Square. The first, on the 1st floor, is home to her services and retail — lashes, soft gel press-ons, beauty essentials, and everyday glam must-haves. Directly across the way sits her second space: a large suite-rental salon where other business owners can rent suites to run their own retail or service business — beauty operators, tattoo artists, and independent brands welcome.

A proud mom of eight, Mel knows firsthand that confidence is built in the small moments — a fresh set, a clean line, ten quiet minutes that belong only to you. Detail and self-care aren't extras here; they're the whole point.

Born, raised, and rooted in the islands, Mel built Beautee By Mel for the local girl, the busy mama, and every woman in between — a calm, hands-on space where you're known by name and never rushed out the door.

Honestly? I just love seeing my clients and getting to take care of them. The services I offer are therapeutic for me as much as they are for the people in my chair — it's quiet time, good convo, and a little reset for both of us.
